Down Time

Everything seems to happen in a hurry these days, It seems like we are all always moving from one appointment to another.... but when do we sit back and enjoy it all? I am at the tail end of my 4 scheduled days of down time. Im still editing and putting albums togather but I didnt schedule any photoshoots or work appointments. Mostly I spent time with my family and friends I have not seen in a really long time, Sometimes the stuff that makes life sweetest requires down time. Its nice to stop and just be grateful for everything I have.
I had the pleasure of spending a little time with these three little girls last week. Last time I photographed Ariana (the oldest one) she was just a little 8 month old.... Oh life goes by so fast. I love my job. I love that I get to freeze a moment in time for families. These girls will grow up fast and I only hope I was able to capture a little fragment of their magical essence.

Quote of the day~ Yorba Linda, Ca Photographer

Always Do Your Best. Your best is going to change from moment to moment; it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick. Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse and regret.

~Wedding:Erin and Steve~

Erin a Steve hosted their guests to a day filled with laughter, intimacy & lots of tears of joy. They held their wedding at the picturesque Pine Creek Gardens.Go for more information on the venue. As Erin came down the aisle I couldn't help but feel the love and kindness that emanated from Steve the guests and family. What an intimate setting... and a genuine couple. Thank-you Erin and Steve for the privilege of documenting your wedding. I wish you many years of laughter, silly faces, love and happiness. And no more broken air conditioners......

Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another: "What! You, too? Thought I was the only one."

Ladies who lunch

Recently since launching my new website and blog, I realized I seriously needed some updated head shots. With little time and a limited budget, I once again recruited my best friend of 17 years. She was in town and before heading over to Pho Vinam for some lunch we did a quick 10 min photo shoot.

and of course I had to snap some of her

Thats her in action

and some silly ones
