Quote of the day~ Menifee, Ca Baby Photographer

~ Menifee, Ca Photographer
"Remember, success is not measured by heights attained but by obstacles overcome. We're going to pass through many obstacles in our lives: good days, bad days. But the successful person will overcome those obstacles and constantly move forward."

And because a post is boring without a picture... a little baby I photographed about 3-4 years ago ;)

With weddings being a little slower this year I have been more available for photo shoots like family pictures, head shots and anytime shoots. Today I have a coming home photo shoot with baby Adrian. A couple of weeks ago... I documented his first bath and both parents being home with him and his big sister Lilian. As mom and dad carefully gave him a bath Lilian sang to him and read, during these times, I wish I had a video camera because somethings my camera just cant capture. I am sure he has grown quite a bit since I took these. I cant wait to come out and photograph him now that he is bigger :)

For new babies I offer a package price to come out every month to photograph the first year.

Quote of the day~ Riverside,Ca Photographer

This isn't really a quote its more a inspirational video. I just love these TED conference presentations. The first one I saw was one by the author of My Stroke of Insight by Ph.D., Jill Bolte Taylor...after that I was hooked. I also posted one a while back about how photography will be bringing us closer together in the future.
This one by Elizabeth Gilbert author of Eat, Pray Love is about inspiration...I love the frankness that she speaks with. & I so related to this.

Everyday on my way to work for the last couple of months, I drive by this field by a river where the Yorba Linda fires in the fall burned so many trees and homes. Amongst the burned trees life started to spring back. At first it was bright green baby grass amongst the black burned trees, now the grass has turned into bright yellow wild flowers. Everyday that I drive by this field and river I feel tortured as I am on my way to work and can't pull over and photograph it.
I guess I should tell my inspiration " I know, I Know! But cant you see that I am on my way to work now! Go find someone else to shoot this. Then I feel scared that someone else took my idea. Yet it isn't MY idea. Its an Idea that came through me from inspiration...Not from ME. But through me. Maybe looking at it like that may help relieve a little bit of the burden.

Meet little baby Adrian. You will be seeing a lot more of him in the future...

Pet Photos Mt Rubidoux: Sad Dog~Rialto, Ca Pet Photographer

No he's not sad...he just has a hard time letting his guard down and doesn't appreciate it when I make him lye down in a public place. He rather be barking at complete strangers, lying down is a submissive position and he didn't appreciate me making him stay or sit he wanted to run around and scope the place out. After I got a couple good pictures of him, I let him do his doggy thang....

I had so much fun taking Bowie out for a photo shoot I decided to take Jonze yesterday, We had a great time. After a while Jonze started to relax. I love my dogies so much, they bring so much love, laughter to my life.

ready to pounce

awwwe a smile

Not happy

Watch out Dog World magazine, I have your new cover model

In case you are wondering Jonze is a pitt bull/lab mix

~my happy dog

I just finished eating a salad that I ruined because I put to much dressing on it. I tried making my own dressing and accidentally used to much apple cider vinegar..Ehh...salad was gross. :(

I decided to take the weekend off from photo shoots for my b-day so I could spend time with my family, around the house and in nature . I also did some location scouting and I could not find a model at the last I took my dog Bowie. She was actually a great model :)

Here are just a few of the pictures I took.
I am trying out some watermarks and I still haven't decided which one I am going to go with.

I would love to do some head shots up against these flowers...

Here she is with her biggest smile, isn't she adorable!

The nature part...going on walks and spending time outdoors is very soothing for me

what a ham...

The inland empire. Its such a pretty place, surrounded by mountains and rolling hills

Now I'll need to take my other 2 dogs on a photo shoot too..I don't want them to get jealous. ;) Since bowie is the youngest she's already the most spoiled.

happy b-day to me

Its my birthday today...and there is lots going on in Lucyville. & it seems like I never have time to blog these days :(
yes I like silly things and I love cats. So silly cat pictures, loves it.
but I digress.....back to buisness
First off I am running a birthday special. Yay! who doesn't love a good special? I am doing 50% off
on prints all day today and 50% off any photo shoot booked this month for April. :P

Next up I have a sneak peek of a proud big sister coming up...and her new baby brother.
look at that proud look in eyes awwwwe

....and last but not least I have Amanda. She is one of my previous brides from 2007, and she recently called me in need of some head shots and I was more than happy to oblige. I love staying in touch with my clients long after the wedding and documenting different stages in their lives...
